Pi Zero 2: A low cost tool for video exhibition
The Raspberry Pi Zero 2W is a very small form factor, single board computer. When loaded with the Video Looper OS (from videolooper.de), it becomes a very easy to use media player for art exhibitions and installations. Video looper OS can be loaded onto a micro SD card (4gb capacity minimum) via the Raspberry Pi Imager software. Its low power requirement means that the Pi Zero 2W can be powered directly with a monitor capable of outputting power via usb (the Pi Zero 2W has a micro usb power input), bypassing the need for an additional power supply. A micro-full hdmi cable adapter, and a microusb-usb adapter, along with a usb stick ( formatted to FAT32, ExFAT or NTFS) is the only hardware that you need. Video format in .mp4 (H.264) and 1080p HD resolution is required. Video Looper does not work with 4K files.
